Beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin.

 Hey Beauts,

So before I attempt to create an interesting blog, I thought  I would explain my reasoning as to why I have started blogging. Now, I am not saying that we need to justify everything we do in life as that would be boring beyond belief, but I hope by doing this you will get a feel for what this blog will be about... you feel me?

So for those that know me personally, and for those that have read other blogs, you will know that I suffer from acne. Before you think this is going to be a lame sob story, I will just briefly say that my "journey" with my ever eventful skin has been something that has tested my mental state constantly. I am a confident person usually but showing my bare skin is something that I would rather run around naked then do... If I had to choose between makeup or clothes, I would just strip immediately and apply foundation without a second glance.

Having said that, I have been pretty fortunate to have been around lovely, kind friends and family as I've grown up and didn't get given too much stick for my extremely obvious angry face! But recently ( at almost 21?!) I was tagged in a shallow meme on Facebook that really got to me. I don't mean it got to me in the sence that it made me want to wear a paper bag on my head and cry into my pillow, but in a really angry and rebellious kind of way.

I was so angry that these types of things are still online?! I mean, we can all be guilty of laughing at a little dark humor, or re-posting things that target groups of people...but meme's like this that single any type of people out are just..wow. So, rather that turn into keyboard warrior and start to slate the person for tagging me in that *AHEM* hilarious meme, I have decided that I will try and spread a little love on the internet and some support for anyone who may be able to relate with some of the experiences I have.

This blog will talk about makeup and beauty products in general as I LOVE makeup more than anything in the world but... it will also at times cover how to deal with acne, tips I found on how to survive life with a facial volcano and most importantly the love/hate relationships with spots and makeup! I'm not claiming my advice will be that of an expert, or that i'll even be any good at this....but if I can help just one of you out there then my goal is complete!

Here goes nothing....

Any tips, comments or questions please feel free to email me or post below!
